Whether you work in engineering, project management, contract administration or procurement, it is vital that you are aware of a party’s rights, responsibilities and obligations under a contract.
This introductory level course will cover the basic elements of contracting, the nature of binding promises, the Australian legal system and related law, interpretation, and the operational aspects of contracts.
Upon completion, you will have an understanding of the law and how it relates to contracts, be able to interpret contracts at a basic level, and understand how the proper management of contracts assists project delivery.
For those who have not studied law before, the course is an excellent introduction into the world of contracts. For those who have studied or been in contracts for some time, the course is an excellent refresher.

Ideal for engineers and related professionals with 0 - 3 years work experience. This workshop is also valuable for contract administrators, contract managers, finance offers, designers or principals involved in drafting or delivering projects under a contract.
