Engineers Australia - Centenary Gala Dinner
This event will gather engineers of all stages of their career, from all disciplines, and from across the State for an evening of jovial celebration and professional recognition in a formal dinner setting. With 2019 being the official Centenary year for Engineers Australia, the night will take on the theme of Red, Black and Gold.
Attendees will embark on a visual and culinary journey at the esteemed W Hotel with partners, friends and colleagues both old and new at tables of 10.
Through the means of a special keynote speaker (to be announced) and a filmic insight into Queensland’s rich engineering heritage via the ‘Journey Through Time’ presentation, the night will align with Engineers Australia’s 2019 festivities surrounding our industry’s Past, Present and Future.
Additionally, the presentation of Queensland’s most prestigious individual awards will feature in the night’s proceedings: 2019 Professional Engineer of the Year, and Young Professional Engineer of the Year.

In preparation of our upcoming Centenary Celebrations, we are calling out the Queensland engineering community to help us celebrate our industry's rich heritage by submitting imagery that showcases engineering feats from the past and present. Some of the culminated gallery of images will be ceremoniously played on the night of our Centenary Gala Dinner across the event's big screens.
If you have any imagery of projects and the pioneers driving them, we'd love to hear from you.
